Telehealth is a technology service available to conduct appointments by videoconferencing. It is simple to use and the offers the opportunity to make direct services offered by Little Tree Psychological Services available in a more flexible avenue. Teletherapy requires audio and visual communication via the internet by both you and me. While not a direct replacement of in-person services, teletherapy has research demonstrating it is effective and positive for many mental health concerns. Dr. Cooley has training in conducting telehealth, including through the American Psychological Association.
After the initial intake, telehealth services may be offered when it is clinically appropriate for you and if/when you are unable to attend in-person sessions, such as for safety reasons due to public health, physical distance, medical conditions, or another situation which makes in-person sessions very difficult or impossible for the client to attend.
I am able to offer individual and family therapy services via the HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform Psychology Today. My unique provider link is: https://sessions.psychologytoday.com/dr-nan-w-cooley
